(SARASOTA, FL – 06/14/16) Sarasota, FL – Kerkering, Barberio & Co., Certified Public Accountants, is pleased to announce that the Firm has been selected as one of the Best Public Accounting Firms for Leadership Equity as determined by the 2016 Accounting MOVE Project which recognizes the Best Public Accounting Firms for Women. Leadership Equity is comprised of firms with at least 50 employees, where women comprise a minimum of 30% of partners and principals.
With 64% women partners and 73% women directors, Kerkering, Barberio & Co. also earns its spot on the Leadership Equity list by having a high number of full-time female employees at 75%. Additionally, the firm has an 86% retention rate due in large part to its flexible work policies and remote work arrangements, including employees located outside of Florida.
