Like personal use, these credits are still available— but they’re also ending soon.
The $7,500 credit for new EVs and the $4,000 credit for used EVs will expire after September 30, 2025. That includes the dealer-based credit, which acts as an instant discount when you buy.
The key thing here is: your vehicle must be delivered and registered by the end of September 2025. If it’s delayed — even by a day — the credit is gone.
